I was in Albuquerque, New Mexico this past weekend for a board meeting and before the plane even touched down, I was in love with the landscape. It's at least my third favorite airport to fly into, up there with Pittsburgh and SeaTac. Technically I've been to New Mexico before, but I was 15 and at the tail end of a 3 week road trip with my parents when we spent a night in Santa Fe and I have no memory of it. This was a quick trip, but we had a little time in Old Town, at a few breweries, and of course seeing the sunset from anywhere is an incredible experience. Those desert sunsets man.....there's nothing like them. New Mexico is high on my list to go back to. You can ski there! Just beyond the desert! WTF? Crazy awesome. Anyway, here are some pics from the trip. I tend to overexpose my photos, so I've adjusted a few of them, but the sunset pictures have no editing - that's exactly how I saw them, like God took a paintbrush to the sky.
